Yaro Places Music on Sylvia Robledo’s Political Sazon Talk Show

Los Angeles/November 17, 2009 –Music producer Yaro provides music for Political Sazon episode “CHICA on the Street 2: Carne Asada with the next Governor?,” which debuted on November 5, 2009.

Political Sazon is an online talk show centered around authentic Mexican food and casual political discussion and geared towards women and Latinos. It is an insider's look into the hearts of elected-officials, community leaders, movers and shakers, and is hosted by the politically savvy Sylvia Robledo, a food aficionado.

“They wanted something with a Latin sound but not necessarily associated with one country or sound, not skewed one way or the other. So I created this piece with some Salsa influenced piano lines, smooth bass and trumpets, and I think it works,” explains Yaro.

As a music producer, Yaro’s catalogue spans popular, urban, world and R&B and he has a talent for injecting African drum and Afro Latin chants - giving modern music a worldly texture and depth beyond a single genre. Yaro is not yet another studio-bread producer; son of Nhorma Ortiz, a Musicologist and founder/producer of the internationally renowned Festival del Tambor y Africania, his colorful upbringing has always included music. Raised in Latin America and now enjoying a professional career that straddles New York City and Los Angeles.

In addition to Political Sazon, he has also recently produced for Axxent Music, DUB, Machete/Universal Music artist Ese Daz and AM Radio 690.
